Christos Chrysanthopoulos has studied History (BA) at the University of Thessaly, holds a MA in Modern History (Panteion University of Social and Political Studies) and a MEd. in Adult Education (Hellenic Open University).
He is PhD candidate at University of Athens and working on cultural history of 19th century. He collaborated in research projects at the Institute of Historical Research/National Hellenic Research Foundation, University of Athens and Crete and other research and archival institutions.
His research interests focus on Greek and European Cultural and Political History in 19th century, History of Historiography, Local History and Historical Study of Settlements in Southeastern Europe in 19th and 20th century. He is member of various scholarly societies.
