kormaAfter having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Thessaly, in the Faculty of history, archeology and social anthropology, she continued further graduate studies at the University of Paris I-Panthéon –Sorbonne, where she obtained an MA (D.E.A.) in modern history.

In 2009, funded by the Alexandros S. ONASSIS foundation, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, entitled “The Greek refugees of Asia Minor in France between political emigration et economical immigration,1916-1939’’.She subsequently became a postdoctoral fellow at the Foundation for Education and European Culture (IPEP), studying the state of the Greek sanitary regime from the Balkan Wars of 1913 into the inter-war period.

For 2014-2015, she completed archival research as a postdoctoral fellow, on the history of the Allied Army of the Orient, at the French School at Athens, where she will be a research member for the next four years as of September 2015.
