Nikos Kourachanis (Athens, 1987)is a Ph.D. Candidate in the field of Social Policy at the University of the Peloponnese. He has finished his undergraduate and postgraduate studies with the degree of “excellent”: He holds a B.Sc. in Social and Educational Policy (University of the Peloponnese, 2008), an M.Sc. in ‘State and Public Policy’ (University of Athens, 2010) and an M.Sc. in ‘Social Discrimination, Migration and Citizenship’ (University of the Peloponnese, 2011).
He was a research fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Ljubljana, 2014). He is working as a researcher at the Panteion University and the University of the Peloponnese. He is a scientific fellow of the M.Sc. in ‘European Social Policy’ (University of the Peloponnese) and Secretary of the Hellenic Social Policy Association.
He has been awarded scholarships from the State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.), the National Bank and the Propondis Foundation.
