Manos Avgeridis was born in Athens in 1982. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens, member of the BoD of the Contemporary Social History Archives and member of the editorial board of the journal Archeiotaxio.
He has studied Political Science and History at Panteion University, Athens, and attained his MA degree in Modern and Contemporary Greek History at the same university. He was also a visiting scholar at the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2012. His research interests include post-war European history and historiography, and the history of the Second World War.
He has participated in several research projects such as “The Greek Civil War: The history and action of the Democratic Army of Greece” (ASKI, 2009).
